The season is heating up hard, which is why it’s the perfect time for Trevor to put up the guards on our precious homes, lest they burn in the bushfires!
- Clogged gutters are a fire-risk – cleaning your gutters now and placing gutter guards will not only reduce your gutter-cleaning schedule (keeping leaves and debris out) but will also help you protect your home from bush fires (if living in bush fire-prone area).
- Fit your home with recommended fireproofing features: cover openings and cavities to prevent bush fire embers, including leaves, twigs and other garden rubbish, into your home through small gaps.
- Fire Guard Gutter Guard – conforms to Australian standards, tested & certified by CSIRO with a flammability index of 1, robust galvanized steel mesh, allow good water flow, 10m roll in 190 or 300mm width.
- EmberMesh Stainless Steel Guard – complies with Australian standards, non-combustible & corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel with powder-coated finish, feature 2mm aperture, 4m roll in 190mm width
- Fire-retardant Gutter Bristle – Tested & certified by CSIRO with a flammability index of 0, made from durable fire-retardant material, will not continue to burn when direct flame moves away, pre-formed 1m length in 110mm or 125mm widths
