There are many and varied ways you can keep a pond clear and healthy.

If the space around your pond is limited and you want minimum maintenance, then consider installing a dirt water pump and pressure filter.
Dirt water pumps are different as they don’t require any form of sponge, they are designed to allow particles and sludge to pass through the pump, to be collected in a filter.
Pressure filters are unique in that they can be positioned below or remote to your pond, you can even bury them up to the lid, effectively hiding them away.
The pressure filter from Pondmax has quite a few extra features that make it a good choice. A backwash function that allows for easy cleaning and an integrated Ultra violet UV light, which gives you garuntee of clear water.
3 sizes are available, but you can never go to big in a filter, the bigger the filter the less cleaning for you.
Once or twice a year you will need to open the filter and clean it, and changing the UV globe annually is recommended.
