There’s a revolution taking place in the horticultural industry all around the world and it involves microscopic bacteria and fungi like the ones living right here in this handful of soil. One handful of healthy rich soil can contain over a billion living microbes and the relationship between plants and these amazing creatures could well be responsible for the future of our planet.

• These creatures breakdown and consume organic matter, plants then absorb nutrition from the bacteria and fungi in what is often the perfect symbiotic relationship.
