Tips and Facts
- A healthy 10.5 metre tree can produce about 118kg of oxygen a year.
- A single tree producing approximately 260 pounds of oxygen per year can supply enough oxygen annually to support a family of four.
- Plants and trees are like living, breathing air filters. They detoxify the air by absorbing many substances that can be harmful to humans, like excess carbon dioxide and dust particles.
- Green surroundings reduce mental tiredness while enhancing concentration and attention, leading to an improved ability to cope and make positive decisions.
