- Using alternative sources of water such as groundwater is a great way to save our precious drinking water supply. It can also save you money and help keep your garden green!
- Bore users can continue to use their bores three days per week based on the last digit of their house number. However, bore water users are encouraged to keep their use to a minimum to conserve our precious water resources.
- You can share bore with your neighbour! You can share the cost of installing the bore and save money using groundwater.
- To assess whether a bore is suitable for your garden consult the 'Groundwater Atlas for Perth'. The atlas is available on the Department of Water website www.water.wa.gov.au
under 'Tools & data', 'Maps and atlases'.
