• Professional Insulation
• Installing insulation is a skill. Make sure the people who'll be wandering around inside your roof cavity are professionally trained and adhere to the industry safety standards and Australian Standard for installation.
• Choosing the right batt
• Insulation batt are assigned an R Value-the higher the number the better the performance. Make sure your supplier explains which one will be right for your home and why.
• Attention to detail
• The space around downlights can result in a 67% reduction in the performance of the insulation. Make sure the company you use install special covers around the downlights to maximise effectiveness of insulation.
