Step 1
Choose a pond, either a pre-form shell or use PVC liner to hold water, (with liner you can create any shape you want), then? dig a hole to suit.

Step 2
Gently place liner into your hole and start filling with water.?? As it is filling, use this time to gently smooth out the liner.

Step 3
Once it is filled secure the edges of the liner with stones or bricks, and decorate to suit.

Step 4
A? pump is then required to move the ?water, this will help fish by providing oxygen and also assist in keeping the water clean.

Step 5
You can set up a natural filtering system by using aquatic plants in a spill way above the pond. Water flowing through will strip nutrients from the water and circulate clean water back into the pond.

Step 6
Place gravel in the pond to act as a base for bacteria. Add fish and water lilies as desired.
