This week, Neville showcases a stylish and durable new release plant. With its unique colour, it is an excellent addition to outdoor areas, and can even be used as an indoor pot plant as it will outlive many other indoor plants.

• A compact groundcover cordyline with no major trunk that grows from the base.
• Only grows to one metre making it ideal for massed plantings
• Grows well in most soil types
• Low maintenance, easy care
• Looks fabulous all year round
• Tolerates a range of soils, but performs best in a well worked soil containing organic matter.
• Low to moderate water needs
• Space one metre for massed effects in the landscape
• Add half a handful of controlled release fertiliser in spring
• Grows in both sun and shade
• Red fountain will survive moderate frost
• Not susceptible to any diseases or pests
