This week’s problem solved by Trevor was a fruit tree that was suffering from yellowing foliage and falling leaves.
This is a common problem in cooler areas and in coastal conditions as the soil tends to be alkaline. To get those leaves green, mixing kelated iron or epsom salts with water and watering the foliage should do the trick. The long term solution is applying trace elements twice a year in small doses.
