It’s about time that we ventured outside the city to see what our country cousins are up to. Mel has discovered a group of nurseries in regional Victoria that makes city slickers stand up and take notice. Modern gardening is about a lot more than just plants and Grow Master Garden Centres are far from just a plant nursery; they offer a whole living experience.

One thing you can always expect from our country cousins is friendly service and hospitality; Grow Master Nurseries take their pledge of trust, solutions and guarantees to a whole new level.

If you’re looking to create your own outdoor room Grow Master has all the plants and ingredients to make your garden stand out from the crowd. When we say all the ingredients, we mean all the ingredients. From the latest plants, outdoor settings, water features and homewares to transform your backyard into an entertainers dream Grow Master has it, no matter what your style.

They even have their own brand of fertilisers, composts and potting mix which are tried and tested by horticulturalists so you know they’ll perform. They also have some fantastic in store displays to inspire the most fantastic outdoor areas.

If you want a modern look then start with a nice wrought iron table setting as the centerpiece to the display and a place to kick back and relax. Then add some plants with great architectural form, like Yuccas, Agaves and Aloes, and pot them into big bold pots. Throw in some contemporary artwork and you will have the perfect living space.

You could create a shady private setting using classic plants like Camellias which flower during the cooler months and provide a beautiful evergreen screen. Throw in the sound of soothing water and some lush foliage and you’ve got the ideal place for spring and summer feasts.

If you prefer a more natural setting try this, you’ll love it. Plant out Agonis ‘Burgundy’ which has wine red foliage and provides a lovely native screen. Include some iconic grass trees and some Australian inspired art and you’ve got the perfect habitat for you and the wildlife.

Christmas is just around the corner and Grow Master have quite a reputation around town as the place to go for festive decorations, homewares and gifts to bring a little Christmas Cheer to your life.
