Today Phil is on the lookout for something that will really stand out in your garden, so he at Botanix Lifestyle Garden Centre to check out the very best of their new arrivals.

Waterwise native plants are certainly back in vogue and with the demand for new and interesting varieties being greater then ever, the team from Botanix has come up with some real beauties.

Blue Leschenaultia (Leschenaultia biloba) has stunning bright blue flowers which blooms for months. It only grows to around a metre which makes it perfect for pots.

Wax Flower (Chamelaucium, Hybrid Cultivar) also known as Geraldton wax is extremely popular, some of the new colours are out of this world and they make wonderful ornamental shrub in any style of garden, and they are perfect for cutting as an indoor decoration in a vase. Beronias are great for cutting too and their sweetly perfumed flowers are simply irresistible.

Beautiful Grevilleas:
Bonfire Grevillea (grevillea johnsonii x Grevillia willsonii “bonfire”) with bright red blooms,
Lollypops Grevillea (grevillea, Hybrid Cultiver, “lollypops”) which has a vivid pink flower, as sweet as can be. Autumn Waterfall Grevillea (grevillea, Hybrid Cultivar, “Autumn Waterfall”) with a bright orange and gold bloom.

There is a new native that has got a lot of gardeners talking. It is Limelight Acacia (Acacia cognate) which is a form of wattle that grows a compact 1.5 metres when it forms an attractive mound of lime green weeping foliage guaranteed to make an impact in any garden.

Talk about making an impact; the latest new look pots, Atlantis Pots. They are called that because they look like they have been salvaged from the depths of the sea. If you look closely you can see the glazing technique used to form an almost coral like pattern. As a garden feature they offer all sorts of possibilities. You have got pots and planters, and the tones in these look amazing with all sorts of plants.

Then you have ornamental urns and jars which make great focal points in the garden, which can also be used as parts of water features, just the thing for adding that wow factor!

You are bound to find just the thing at Botanix and once you are done you can enjoy a relaxing lunch or a nice cup of coffee in their café, it is worth popping by.
