The winter days are perfect for getting out and visiting a nursery, art gallery, do a bit of shopping or relax and get a bite to eat…Botanix Lifestyle Garden Centre has it all, located in the Bayside suburbs.
Right now the nursery is full of winter delights to add colour to your garden beds. Bedding plants are looking their best ready for spring and so are azaleas all bursting into beautiful bloom. Natives like grevilleas are flowering now too and you will always find a fabulous selection of waterwise plants to drought proof your garden
Winter is great for planting and is a great time for decorating too. Attractive furniture for outdoors and indoors with a range of dining room settings, sun lounges, market umbrellas and barbeques. There is also some fabulous dinner ware and a variety of decorative accessories to enhance the comfort and harmony in the home and garden.
A must see is the Wellington Point Art Gallery at Botanix. It is one of south east Queensland’s largest commercial art gallery with a stunning display of contemporary paintings and sculptures from all over the country.
Mick Zalesky is the gallery director who is a brilliant sculpture himself. Mick makes the most amazing pieces from recycled metal, each with a guaranteed wow facture. You can often catch Mick making his masterpieces on site at Botanix Studio. If you like you can commission him to make a special piece for you.
Another thing you will love is the Botanix Café serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Coffee lovers will find their coffee irresistible or enjoy the high tea experience every Saturday afternoon and every second Wednesday.
