Yates Shake ‘n’ Feed

Winter is a great time to be out in the garden and it is an even better time to start thinking about what your lovely potted plants are going to need to have them looking their best now and right into spring.
Gardening doesn’t need to be a chore so here is a simple, easy to use no mess no fuss fertiliser that is going to take less than 5 seconds to apply and will last for at least 6 months.
Shake ‘n ‘Feed. The name really says it all. One shake for pots up to 30 cm wide and 2 shakes for pots up to 50 cm. pretty darn easy.
Shake ’n’ Feed also contains a granular wetting agent to keep your potting mix moist AND it contains seaweed extract which improves any soils health. That means your plants are going to be well fed and in the best possible shape.
It is a great little job to do right before you go on holidays and you can even use it in any garden bed or your lawn as well. That will be 3 shakes per metre squared. If you have sensitive plants, then just halve the application.
Once the shaking done, just water it in well. Some pets are attracted to it, so if you have pets Yates recommends you just mix it into the top layer of soil and of course keep it out of reach of children.
