When you are planning your trip to Ireland make sure you take some time out between major cities to enjoy and spend some time in the little villages along the way like Adare. It is a chance to really see what the Irish people are like. They are so friendly and are happy to meet you. When you go to a restaurant, café or even the local pub, sit down and have a chat with the true locals and find out the real culture. Adare is packed full of little craft, art, jewelry, fashion and antique stores. It is a real pleasure to wonder through and meet the locals and see some of the local crafts.
The region around Adare has some of the best privately owned gardens in all of Ireland and they are open to the public in the month of May during their festival.
