Agapanthus hint

Episode: #2 17/03/07
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane

Agapanthus are one of Australia’s most popular flowering garden plants and for a very good reason, their summer display of pink, blue and white blooms are spectacular.

The trouble is when they are finished they go to seed and this can create an environmental problem in low lying areas and river ways.

A good way to get control of it when they finish flowering is to go through and cut those flower heads off just before the seed disperses. This means you get the best of both worlds.
