Presenter: Trevor Cochrane

Now is the time to be planting out flowering annuals and potted colour but one of the biggest mistakes that gardeners make is they do not go using snail pellets.

The snails and slugs will chew your plants up in no time if you do not get yourself something like Baysol Snail and Slug Bait, One of the things you should look out for when you buy snail pellets is an additive called ‘bitrex’. If it has got ‘bitrex’ in it that keeps the pets away, which gives you the peace of mind, if you use Baysol you are going to end up with the best looking garden in the street. It is also good in all types of weather.
