Weather Reading Tips
- Weather instruments such as temperature gauges are standard across the whole world to get accurate and consistent measurements
- Rainfall, humidity, wind speed and direction are measured and fed into massive computers around the world and sophisticated models are generated
- The 5 – 7 day forecast is reliant on the computer model being very precise
- The chaos theory means 1 month or more forecasts cant be entirely accurate, so a statistical type of forecast is used instead of predictive
