Story: Growing Herbs in Vege Potting Mix Bag

Sue explains one of the best shortcut tricks to have home grown vegies in just 3 weeks.
- Using a simple bag-growing method, you can harvest quick crops in a very short time.
- This technique works well for renters, balconies, and courtyards no garden bed needed.
- A quality potting mix provides the structure, nutrients, and drainage needed to get plants started.
- Lay the bag on its side, add drainage holes underneath, and cut small planting holes on top.
- You can grow one or two plants per hole, depending on the crop and mature size.
- While the mix contains starter fertiliser, applying liquid fertiliser every couple of weeks helps extend harvests.
- Place the bag in a sunny spot, keep it well-watered, and you can grow a range of crops like herbs, celery, spring onions, and broccoli.
