- The forest was built by the people of Damyang on the Seonginsan Mountain and was built to celebrate the importance of bamboo in Korean culture.
- Damyang has 25% of all the bamboo forests in Korea.
- Featuring a beautiful artificial waterfall, pavilion, walking paths and an eco-exhibition center, it is a destination for both the garden lover and the explorer.
