Winter time is the best time of the year for enjoying the fruits from your favourite citrus, orange, lemons, lime, of course mandarins, and this one here Cinotto. Nigel takes a look at how to get great results from your citrus

• At the end of fruiting season you need to prune and feed, in that order. This will give you great results for the next season.
• Cut back a third in size, starting with the top branches which will let more light into the base
• By encouraging more growth in the lower part of the tree will aid in more side growth and flower buds
• Feed with Troforte to help fight diseases and give a compact growth and promote fruiting
